Pseudo-arithmetic hyperbolic lattices

  • Abstract: I will introduce and motivate a notion of pseudo-arithmeticity for lattices in PO(n,1), a concept that generalizes that of (quasi-)arithmeticity and applies to all known lattices for n > 3. If time permits I will present a result on the volumes of the corresponding hyperbolic manifolds and discuss relations with special values of L-functions. Joint work with Vincent Emery.
